1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of LearnPress Cloud.
By visiting our website, creating an account, starting a trial, subscribing to a paid plan, creating a course website, or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms.
If you are using LearnPress Cloud on behalf of a company, organization, client, or other entity, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use LearnPress Cloud.
2. The LearnPress Cloud service
LearnPress Cloud is a managed platform that helps users create, sell, and manage online courses through a ready-to-use WordPress + LearnPress course website.
The service may include website creation, managed hosting, LearnPress setup, templates, SSL, backups, security features, site management, dashboard access, billing management, and related tools.
The exact features available to you may depend on your plan, account status, product configuration, and service availability.
3. Eligibility and accounts
To use LearnPress Cloud, you must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement and use online services in your jurisdiction.
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current account information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
4. Trials, subscriptions, and billing
LearnPress Cloud may offer a free trial for eligible users. Trial length, included features, and billing requirements may be shown during signup.
If you start a paid subscription, you agree to pay the fees shown at checkout or in your account. Subscription fees may be billed monthly, yearly, or according to the billing cycle you choose.
Your subscription will continue until you cancel it or until it is terminated according to these Terms. You are responsible for keeping your billing information current.
If payment fails, we may retry the payment, notify you, limit access, suspend the account, or cancel the subscription.

5. Course websites and customer content
You may use LearnPress Cloud to create and manage a course website. You retain ownership of the content you add to your site, including course materials, lessons, images, videos, text, downloadable files, branding, and other customer content.
By adding content to LearnPress Cloud, you give us the limited permission needed to host, process, display, back up, secure, transmit, and operate that content as part of providing the service.
You are responsible for ensuring that your content, course materials, website activity, student communication, sales pages, and business practices comply with applicable laws and do not violate third-party rights.
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy and legality of your course content
- The products, courses, services, or programs you sell
- Your relationship with your students, learners, customers, and website visitors
- Your website terms, privacy notices, refund rules, and customer communication where applicable
- Any taxes, business registrations, licenses, or legal obligations related to your business
- Maintaining secure account access and permissions
- Using the service in a responsible and lawful way
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use LearnPress Cloud to create, host, publish, sell, or distribute content or activity that:
- Violates applicable law or regulation
- Infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights
- Contains malware, viruses, phishing, spyware, or harmful code
- Sends spam or unauthorized bulk messages
- Promotes fraud, scams, deceptive activity, or misleading claims
- Harasses, threatens, abuses, or harms others
- Explits minors or contains illegal sexual content
- Attempts to bypass platform limits, security controls, or access restrictions
- Interferes with the performance, reliability, or security of LearnPress Cloud
- Uses the service for activities that create unreasonable risk for the platform, other users, or the public
We may remove content, restrict access, suspend sites, or terminate accounts that violate these rules or create risk for the service.
8. Domains, integrations, and third-party services
LearnPress Cloud may allow you to connect custom domains, payment providers, email tools, analytics tools, plugins, add-ons, or other third-party services.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, external tools, payment processors, domain registrars, or integrations that are not controlled by LearnPress Cloud.
You are responsible for configuring and maintaining any third-party accounts, DNS records, payment settings, or integration permissions required for your use case.
9. Platform management, updates, and backups
LearnPress Cloud may manage technical areas such as hosting, SSL, security, backups, updates, monitoring, and platform maintenance.
We may update, patch, modify, or replace parts of the platform to improve performance, security, reliability, compatibility, or user experience.
Backups are intended to support recovery and platform reliability, but they are not a replacement for your own business continuity practices. We recommend keeping copies of important course materials, media files, business records, and customer information where appropriate.
10. Support
LearnPress Cloud may provide support through email, help center resources, dashboard messages, or other support channels.
Support availability, response times, and included support scope may depend on your plan and account status.
Support does not include guaranteed custom development, business consulting, course creation services, legal advice, tax advice, or third-party service troubleshooting unless specifically stated.
11. Service availability and changes
We work to keep LearnPress Cloud reliable and available, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
Service interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, security incidents, infrastructure issues, third-party service outages, misuse, force majeure events, or factors outside our control.
We may modify, add, remove, or discontinue features as the platform evolves. Where changes materially affect paid customers, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice.
12. Cancellation and termination
You may cancel your subscription according to the cancellation process available in your account or by contacting support where applicable.
If you cancel, your access may continue until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated in the Refund Policy or checkout terms.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay fees, create security or legal risk, abuse the service, or use LearnPress Cloud in a way that harms the platform or other users.
After cancellation or termination, your site and data may be deleted, restricted, or retained for a limited period according to our data retention, backup, legal, and operational practices.
13. Intellectual property
LearnPress Cloud, including its platform, dashboard, design, branding, software, workflows, templates, documentation, and related materials, is owned by LearnPress Cloud or its licensors.
You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, misuse, or create derivative works from the platform except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law.
You retain ownership of your own customer content, subject to the limited permissions needed for us to provide the service.
14. Disclaimers
LearnPress Cloud is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We do not guarantee that the service will meet every requirement, produce specific business results, generate course sales, guarantee student enrollment, or be free from all errors or interruptions.
You are responsible for your business decisions, course content, pricing, marketing, student relationships, legal compliance, taxes, and results.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LearnPress Cloud and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or service disruption.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service will be limited to the amount you paid to LearnPress Cloud for the service during the period specified by applicable law or, if no period is specified, during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
16. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LearnPress Cloud from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your content, your course website, your business activity, your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes will be handled in the courts or dispute resolution forum located in California, United States, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the website, dashboard, email, or other appropriate channels.
Your continued use of LearnPress Cloud after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
